The new home bond is a decoration package that is offered as part of the sale of the house. It guarantees that the house will be taken up to the standards expected of a new home. This is how it works.
- Our consultants come and assess the decorative state of your property
- A schedule of work is produced to get the property up to new build standards
- The bond signed and is registered with your solicitors
- On the day of completion we will make good all minor holes and scuffs etc
- The bond is transferred to the new owners as part of the completion
- The new owners then have up 6 months to complete the schedule of work
